I'm trying to build up a following on Twitter. Do you Twitter? Would you like to? Here I am if you want to follow: http://twitter.com/cherrymoondrops I like to talk about my interests on there, and things I've seen and people I've done. Or something like that. Come on by.
Today (and every day so far) I've been working on my Nanowrimo Novel. I just reached 5,000 words. I made my goal for today. But I started on Nov. 2, not the first, so I'm still 1,667 words behind more or less. http://www.nanowrimo.com.
I'm also making sourdough bread. It's a day long project. But while it's rising I do other things, so it's not so bad. Like I ran to the fabric store to pick out fabric for 2 aprons I'm making for Christmas presents. See my cooking blog here for more about the bread: http://witcherycookery.blogspot.com/
I also worked on the Evony game, building my 2 cities. I just check in long enough to make sure something is always building. Sometimes things like walls take 16 hours to build. The game continues on in real time whether I'm watching it or not.
And I'm reading a novel. So that right there was my day in a nutshell.
First of all I want to share some funny photos of a bear I found on Twitter. http://www.wolaver.org/Humor/bear.htm
I'm cleaning off my desk today. The clutter seems to be mostly hair doo-dads, notes that are outdated, and craft supplies of things I must have been working on in front of the computer. Of course I do my hair in the bathroom, not in the bedroom, so when I go to fix my hair I wonder where all the hair doo-dads have gone.
I have various names on Twitter. Feel free to follow any or all of them: RedQuill, Zenchantress, Hypnolove, RaksGothique, wicked_dove, and Iusedtodomagic, to name a few. The funny thing is I don't even like Twitter that much, I just like making names.
The post wouldn't be complete w/o some photos I've taken recently.
So here goes.
All the horses on the gourd were freehand sketches that I traced onto pyrography paper, then taped to the gourd, then woodburned right through the paper.
Bored with the summer? Why not try gourd art?
Today I had a new idea for a crochet project. I got the crochet part finished, but now I need the doll eyes for it before I put all the stuffing in it and sew up the bottom. I've tripped over that bin 100 times. It is a clear bin with a blue green lid. It was sitting in my living room for months. Now I can't find it. Did I bury it? Move it to a more logical spot? Leave it at the archery range? Or is it sitting right there and I'm suffering from temporary blindness?
Update: Yay, I found it. It was on a chair but buried under some pillows. My critters morphed into owls. I'll show you via photos or you could see them at http://www.tweetersandhooters.etsy.com.
