Where is the farthest you have ever been away from home? Did you get homesick?

Once I drove from California to the East coast by myself. I didn't really get homesick. The only reason I went back to CA was because I was broke and I had a gig there. When I got to the gig, it has fallen through. Otherwise maybe I never would have come back to California.
After the last time my myspace was hacked into I shut down that account and swore I'd never go there again. But then so many ETSY sellers use it and put their Etsy mini on it to advertise, so I felt like I was really missing out. So I made a brand new account, spent a week getting it to look just right, and yesterday when I logged into it, I got a blurb from MYSPACE saying my account was blocked because the password had been phished. Not again! Soooooooo, the blurb said to change my password and hit unblock and I'd be good to go. Well, I didn't trust that so I logged in the old fashioned way, changed the password and found it still blocked, so I figured I better do it their way. Long story short, the second I unblocked my main page on myspace, a popup covered it so I could not access it. It was a microsoft window saying it had found a trojan that it could neither clean nor remove. And since my computer can't get online, I was using my boyfriend's so now his computer has this lovely trojan virus that keeps trying to download new trash into his computer. So he's furious with me and I can't use his computer anymore. So yesterday I went to the library, waited an hour for computer time, and signed up for Earthlink Wi-fi for my own computer. It will take me a week to get the WI-Fi modem. I was online with their techs for the entire morning trying to get the free Earthlink dial-up to work and my computer is too fubar to run the dial-up. So I'm at a different library where there is no wait and I get an hour of computer time. Looks like I'm going to be at the library every day until my modem gets here, and even then I have no guarantee it will work. Soooo, I tried to pick up the wi-fi signal yesterday and this morning and it shows up sometimes, but is too weak to connect to it.
My boyfriend has no clue that I can't run internet businesses without being on the internet. So he doesn't even get how this is such a huge issue for me. For me no internet equals no income. This is all so frustrating. And why can't Myspace police their own website? I don't have these problems on other blogs.
